Dispatch Times

We aim to dispatch on the same day if all components are in stock, otherwise, it will be within 6 working days. All of our items are handmade and assembled in our Essex workshop. It may take longer during busy periods.

Our working days are Monday – Friday 9am-5pm

Delivery Details

It is one charge per order – not per item.

UK FLAT RATE : £6.95

Orders within England are sent via next-day delivery.

Orders in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are sent via courier 48 hour service.

Smaller items that are not part of a larger order, like samples and ceiling clamps will be sent 1st class Royal Mail.

+ 50p per additional small item.

DELIVERY INFORMATION AND CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY 
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all delivery details provided at the time of order are complete and accurate. This includes, but is not limited to, house numbers, street names and postcodes.

Where an incorrect or incomplete address is supplied by the customer and this results in a failed, delayed or misdirected delivery, we cannot accept responsibility for the item. In such cases, we are not obliged to provide a free replacement or refund.

We will, where possible, assist in attempting to recover the original item. If recovery is not successful, a replacement may be offered at the customer’s expense, including any additional production and delivery costs.

Returns & Refunds

Please read our Returns and Refunds carefully. Thank you for shopping at Lam Lighting and supporting handcrafted British-made lighting.

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help. If you would like to return an item, please notify us within 14 days of receiving your order. You can do this by emailing us at [email protected].

Once you have notified us, you will have a further 14 days to return the item to us. To meet the return deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification before the 14-day period has expired..

Products returned in the same condition that they were sent will be issued a full refund for the cost of the item, excluding any delivery fees and a 20% restocking fee to cover our costs of assembling your bespoke options of shade choice, cord colour and fitting finishes etc. as well as admin and restocking. All our lights are handmade to order. Any refunds should appear within your account within 10 working days.

We do not cover return postage costs, or any loss or breakages that occur during the return process. We recommend that returns are made using our original packaging with a tracked, insured and signed for service.

To be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

• The product is in its original packaging
• The product isn’t used or damaged
• You have the receipt or proof of purchase
• You have contacted us via the details below to let us know we can expect the return.

Products that do not meet these criteria will not be considered for return.

Shipping charges

Shipping charges incurred in connection with the return of a product are non-refundable.

You are responsible for paying the costs of shipping and for the risk of loss of or damage to the product during shipping, both to and from Lam Lighting.

Damaged items

Please check your products thoroughly on receipt of your package.
If you received a damaged product, please notify us immediately after receiving your goods for assistance.

We cannot accept responsibility for damage that occurred to unopened and unchecked packages after the date received.

Sale items

Sale items can be refunded.

E-Gift Cards

1 E-Gift Card Values:
Our E-Gift Cards are available in denominations of £25, £50, £75, £100, and £150.

2 Single-Use and No Cash Refunds:
Each E-Gift Card can be used once and must be applied to a single purchase. If the item purchased is of lesser value than the voucher amount, the remaining balance will not be refunded or retained as credit.

3 Shelf Life:
Each E-Gift Card is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. After 12 months, the voucher will expire and will no longer be redeemable.

4 Applicability:
E-Gift Cards are valid only for purchases made directly through Lam Lighting’s official website. They cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional codes.

5 Digital and Non-Transferable Codes:
Each E-Gift Card is supplied by the email you submit at point of purchase as a unique digital code bespoke to the recipient. This code is non-transferable and must not be shared. If the code is shared and used by someone other than the intended recipient, any resulting purchase is non-refundable. Additionally, for gifting purposes, a decorative voucher image may be provided, but the actual redeemable value is contained solely in the digital code.

Fuse Rating and Electrical Safety

All Lam Lighting plug in light fittings are supplied with a correctly rated 3 amp fuse fitted within the plug. This fuse rating has been carefully selected to provide appropriate protection for the product and its electrical components. The supplied fuse must not be replaced with a fuse of a higher or lower rating under any circumstances. Altering the fuse rating may compromise the safety of the fitting, increase the risk of electrical fault, and will invalidate product certification and warranty. If a replacement fuse is required, it must be a 3 amp BS 1362 compliant fuse.

Bulb Rating

All Lam Lighting products are tested for use with LED bulbs up to a maximum of 10 watts. This maximum wattage must not be exceeded. Using bulbs above the stated rating may result in excessive heat build up, potential damage to the fitting, and could pose a safety risk. It may also invalidate certification, warranty, and any liability on the part of Lam Lighting. Customers are responsible for ensuring that only suitable bulbs within the specified rating are used at all times.

Compliance and Responsibility

Our lighting products are manufactured and tested in accordance with relevant UK safety standards. Installation and use must be carried out in line with the guidance provided. Lam Lighting accepts no responsibility for damage, malfunction, or injury arising from misuse, unauthorised modification, or failure to follow the specified electrical and bulb requirements.
