A Swedish Philosophy To Wellness

If you haven’t already heard of the Swedish word ‘lagom’, then it’s a term that describes a approach to material things and how not to seek out excess. Roughly translated it means ‘just enough’ or ‘not too much and not too little’ to get the balanced choice between two extremes. If you have heard of it you may well be fed up of hearing about it. It has been somewhat hijacked as a kind of trendy conversation piece. Regardless, its benefits remain unchanged. It’s a beautiful antidote to modern living and moves us towards a more balanced life. We hope our lights are just enough of the right thing, simple and beautiful in their understated elegance as we embrace a more sustainable life.
